Been looking for this song for so long ever since I discovered the original was an english song. (First heard this tune on a chinese pop songI think) Just happened to chance apon it on radio the other day and noted down an excerpt of the lyrics. yup.

Sch reopen, orientation. I haven't felt this kind of atmosphere since I was undergoing orientation myself. And I miss it. As I put the new freshies in my frames, behind the lens I miss every moment one year ago. Being worried and lonely. Meeting Thebes Gamma. Knowing our wonderful OGLs more. Soaking up the excitement, the build up. Becoming the Winning family seemed like a given- if we didnt win id be super disappointed. We played, shouted, sang and cheered our souls out. True effort and emotion yields results :)

Second Orientation could never touch the level the first set. Simply because first is mostly by people who want to be there. And second was made up of mostly people who wanted to get a transfer out asap. The commitment level is totally different. OGLs too, having older OGLs just gives you more respect for them.

One major greviance. WHY NO MASS DANCE THIS YEAR? Mass dances are a tradition at all Jc orientations arent they? Is this the standard for orientation set by the 19th Council? Will this mean the new student councils will pick up and SR will no longer have mass dances at orientation?! I wont take this lie down and see this happen- college dance is fun yes, but mass dances are the fastest, most exciting, nerve wrecking to learn and dance kinds :)

Didn't take alot of pictures of Orientation. I hope 2nd Orientation would be better (since they are the ones becoming our real juniors and taking over everything) Im looking forward to the 20th Student Council and all that jazz. Its these kind of super fun things that makes your short 2 years in Jc super memorable isnt it? And also to counteract the wholly stressful setup of year 2. Yes Jean, you will have someone to fret with you this year haha.

Im making a new skin soon. It'll probably stay throughout 2007 cos It'll be a busy year and I wont have much time to be online to fiddle with my blog. Who am I fighting with this year? All the nice prodigious people who handle exams with a flick of their hair and a sparkle in their eyes. Tough battle ahead it will be.
