Prisoner of War

[[All of my days]]

Proclaim Your awesome power
Tell of mighty deeds
Declare Your future Kingdom
Of everlasting peace

And my eyes they look unto You always
And I am captured by Your Majesty

All of my days
I will sing of Your greatness
All of my days
I will speak of Your grace
All of my days
I will tell of Your wondrous love
Your love in my life
Your love

All Your works will praise You
Your children bless Your name
We speak of all Your goodness
We walk in fields of grace

Suddenly reminded of this song. Was reading someone else's blog and I thought back over vision friday. Going BEYOND, all that shizzle. Yes, its insane, this year and these people. We all fight an invisible war, one where only the combatants fight while the unknowning casualties pile up. And once in a while, the soldiers just feel down, the odds are insane and the incentives aren't obvious. Being a POW suddenly does not look so bad and the only thing keeping them from turning tail is the fear of being shot in the back. Im losing sight of my objective and the rifle gets heavier each day. The welcoming arms of defeat entice me everytime and all too often I jump in gladly. Its stupid, its wrong, but when you have lost that communication link with Headquarters the wa just gets into you. You're desensitized. Being shot does not hurt so much anymore and all of a sudden its alright to negotiate a little give and take.

I require a few things
1) restablish communications - harder done then said. Esp when that antenna is totally out of whack and you cant feel nuts no more.
2) redefine the frontline - can't fight a war is there's no division
3) suit up - be re-equipped to take up the battle again, toughen up and get steely

Thing is, I dont know how. If I got a pebble for each time I make the trip between the border of peseverance and defeat Id have built the great wall of China by now. Got to close the door, I just need to know one thing. HOW

Quote of e Post:
Nothing you can do, could make Him close the door
